Shinéad has spent her entire career with Appleton Corporation, starting in 2011 as a receptionist and transitioning into the accounting field, first taking on roles in accounts payable and then moving on to an accountant position, before being promoted to Assistant Controller in 2023.

Shinéad supervises the accounts payable team and manages financial operations for Appleton’s third-party clients. Her expertise includes financial statement preparation, audit coordination, and asset management. Her strong background in governmental accounting allows for seamless interaction with boards and financing agencies. Technologically adept, Shinéad is Appleton’s go-to for the implementation of new accounting software and procedures. 

Shinéad was awarded a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Elms College, a master’s degree in accounting from Bay Path University and is a Certified Occupancy Specialist.

Her dedication to excellence and friendly attitude epitomize the Appleton Corporation spirit. A prolific reader and committed to maintaining a good work/life balance,Shinéad’s free time is often spent absorbed in a good book and walking her dogs.
