Biography
A 30-year veteran in the field of Resident Services, Donna came to Appleton Corporation in 2006. As the Director of the Resident Services Division for 2,000 units of Senior and Disabled Housing, Donna’s responsibilities include the ongoing development of the Resident Services department, crisis intervention, resident/management mediation, and 504 Reasonable Accommodation Coordinator. In her role as Marketing Director, she directs the advertising efforts for the various properties in Appleton’s portfolio. Donna earned an Associate of Science Occupational Therapy Assistant degree from Springfield Technical Community College. She is a Certified Resident Service Coordinator and serves as the President of the Massachusetts Association of Resident Service Coordinators in Housing (MARSCH). Donna channels her passion for reducing food insecurity in the community by coordinating the Brown Bag for Seniors program and Appleton’s Community Impact Crew events. She reminds her Resident Services team daily about the importance of meeting people where they’re at and creating mutual understanding. When not taking her two “wild & crazy” dogs for a walk, Donna keeps busy with her wonderful family and grandchildren.
