Biography
Jennifer began her career in 1994 with Appleton Corporation’s sister company, at the former Mount Tom Ski Area, and rose to her current position as Director of Affordable Housing Compliance in 2008. In addition to achieving a BS in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts and an associate degree in Criminal Justice, Jennifer holds certificates in TCS, COS, COSA, MORS, CPO, and C9P. She is Appleton’s in-house expert on HUD, Affordable Housing, and LIHTC compliance, ensuring regulatory adherence for the more than 2,000 apartments in Appleton’s portfolio. When not using her depth of experience to keep Appleton properties in compliance, Jennifer loves competing with her dogs in Canine Scent Sports. In 2024, she and her dog qualified to compete at the Canine Performance Event Nationals for agility and scent work. As a canine scent work judge, Jennifer enjoys working with and encouraging new teams as they progress through the sport. She is particularly proud of “Crash”, her English Springer Spaniel who, at the time of his retirement, was #4 in USCSS scent work in the world.
